Claustral Canyon Nov 2009 : It's been a long time since I've been down Claustral Canyon. For good reason, it's popular. So weekend trips really aren't feasible unless you're prepared to share it with the crowds and queue at the abseils. When Matt visited for a long weekend from Brisbane it provided the perfect opportunity to go on a week day. Along with Martin, we set out early with a strict schedule to get Matt back to the airport in time. Always a risky business when you're canyoning. Claustral never disappoints. After every bend there's a stretch of canyon at least as beautiful as the last. While we focused on getting movie for Martin's latest project, I managed to get a few stills. I'm already looking forward to going back.
