We repack after breakfast in the shelter of the Glen Davis camp ground.
To get to our pass we walk passed the Glen Davis tip.
Our pass includes climbing through a cave.
The creek we're climbing through has plenty of water from the heavy rain the night before.
The pass up through the creek is almost a good canyon in its own right.
Climbing up through the creek.
It's time to leave the creek and scramble up to the ridge.
A convenient ramp leads us almost to the top of the cliffs.
The upper reaches of our target creek makes for pleasant walking!
Soon the canyons starts getting wet.
Rich wastes no time jumping in. He brought a steamer!
The canyon is looking good!
Tom wrestles with the water.
A narrow but open section.
Rachel leads the first abseil.
Rich descends an abseil down a log.
Rich watches as the rest of us abseil.
The canyon keeps getting better.
Rachel on a short and tricky abseil.
Rich and Tom set up a short abseil where the canyon flows into another canyon.
Now there are some serious swims!
And narrow sections with plenty of flow.
A beautiful section of canyon!
Tom patiently waits for me to set up my camera before jumping.
