A SBW walk lead by Richard with Tom, Rachel, Neil, Sue and me.
"A weekend of abseiling (with full packs) at Bungonia, camping on the Shoalhaven. Long Gully has 9 or 10 abseils, the longest being 56m. We will abseil with full weekend packs. On Sunday, we‟ll leave our camp and ascend the eastern side of the Shoalhaven for Fordham Canyon, it has 6 abseils up to 60m in length. Return to camp and pack up, then if time allows visit the Tolwong chimneys and exit via the Trestle track, a 500m climb out."
Unfortunately the Shoalhaven was too high for us so we had to abandon the Fordham Canyon plans on Sunday and plan a longer walk out instead.
