It's not a popular canyon so there's no track to lead you to it - you have to do a bit of navigation.

The first abseil into the canyon.

Collete decends into icy water. This is where she finds out how valuable it is to be able to disengage from the rope as quickly as possible.
As you stand up the small amount of cold water that leaked into your wetsuit falls down and surprises other parts of your body!

The canyon opens up a little and there are a couple of scrubby abseils before the 45m abseil.
The 45m abseil. The start is a little tricky with some large chock stones to negotiate. This abseil got Collete's heart rate up passed 180bpm!
Chris wouldn't stay still.
