Mt Williams Jul 2014
After giving up finding a warm place to go tramping for the weekend we decide that a warm hut is the next best thing. Edwards Hut is a serviced hut which means it'll have a wood heater and wood supplied (ha!). It's a half day tramp in from Greyneys Shelter. The plan for the next day is to ascend to Williams Saddle and have a look at Mt Oates (2041m) (a very impressive and intimidating looking peak) and return via the Mingha River. When we get to the saddle, we decide to go for the much less committing Mt Williams (1718m) instead.
